Navigation

There are several methods to navigate this blog.

• The main page Blog contains the most recent posts.
• In the Categories the posts are filtered by category.
• The Tags pages contain archive lists filtered by one term.
• The Archives contains a list of articles sorted by date.
• Inside an article
  • the header contains links to the corresponding category and the tags,
  • arrows allow navigation by date globally,
  • but also per category or tag.
• Some articles belong to a series.
  • The navigation bar at the top contains additional arrows and
  • at the bottom below the article a list of all articles in the series is given for easy navigation.

Commenting

Some articles allow comments. Since this site is statically compiled, an external service is used for the comments: Disqus. You need to login to comment.

Feeds

The update-feeds of this blog are available as Atom and RSS.

Software setup

This blog uses Pelican to compile source files in a markdown syntax (reStructuredText) into static html pages. During compilation the page layout and relative links are automatically generated for each page and archives are generated.
